“I had a wonderful experience doing the Sugar Detox! I chose to follow the Advanced program so my diet was void of any sugar, grains, or dairy whatsoever. Going in, I was worried that I wouldn’t make it past the first week due to having such a busy schedule, but I found that being as prepared as possible keeps you at such an advantage. Doing things such as washing, cutting, and placing your fresh veggies in storage containers the day that they are bought can really save you when you are in a pinch for time.The recipes that Diane provides gives you a good start in trying to determine “what” to eat. I know that I can’t recall eating so many vegetables in one day in my entire life, so I needed that sort or guide to help me along and inspire me. I by week two I was into the swing of things. Another thing that helped big time is everyone sharing their experiences on the discussion page and also their own twists of Diane’s recipes and a few of their own!
Now as for results? I can’t tell you enough how satisfied I was with it! At first I was hungry all the time, but then discovered that I needed to add more fat to my diet. After the initial water weight drop that I think everyone experiences, because I stayed dedicated to the program I dropped 2 lbs every week like clock work. It was almost predictable. Seriously. I was sleeping better and I wasn’t as tired after my everyday activities as I used to be. Nowadays, I’ve been playing around with this Paleo diet concept..but that’s another page and another story.
